Crusader Men’s Golf Places 13th at Hershey Cup


HERSHEY, Pa. – The Susquehanna men’s golf team finished 13th at the two-day Hershey Cup, hosted by Alvernia University.

The Crusaders shot a combined score of 662 (+94) over the two rounds, including a 324 on Sunday. McDaniel won the tournament after shooting a 606 (+38).

SU’s Daniel Wilson (Washington, N.J./Warren Hills Regional) tied for 41st after shooting a 163, including a 78 on Sunday which marked the team’s lowest score over the two rounds.

Kevin Phelan (Charlotte, N.C./Charlotte County Day School) was just two shots behind (165) to tie for 51st. Anthony Canarie (South Portland, Maine/South Portland) and Donny DeRemer (Shavertown, Pa./Holy Redeemer) shot a 166 and 170, respectively, and Ryan Bruvik (Skillman, N.J./The Hun School) shot a 177.

The Crusaders return to action in April 13-14 at the Glenmaura National Collegiate Invitational.
