Golf Takes Second at Own Invite

HUMMELS WHARF, Pa. – The Susquehanna men's golf team placed second at its annual SU Spring Golf Invitational.

Moravian won the invite with a score of 315 on the par 70, 6421-yard course. Susquehanna took second with a score of 327 with SU's four individual golfers combining for a score of 344, third-best on the day.

The Crusaders boasted four players in the top 10. Dylan Gladd took third overall with a score of 76 (+6) and was followed closely behind by teammate Dan Wilson who captured fourth after shooting a 79. Matt Shaffner of the individual golfers tied for fifth (83) and Steven Jumper took seventh (84).

Individuals Rob Johnson, Dave Khant and Tim Unkles all tied for 11th (87) and Brendan Baloh tied for 17th (88). Connor White placed 19th (89).

The team returns to action on April 5 at the Moravian Invitational beginning at noon.
