Junior Brendan Baloh fired a five-over par 76 to tie for third place overall for the Susquehanna University Men's Golf team Saturday at the Stevenson Fall Invitational at the Piney Branch Golf Club in Upperco, Maryland.
Baloh tied with three other golfers at +3 and finished just two shots away from the medalist who finished at +3, 74 on the par 71, 6,493-yard course.
Mary Washington won the team championship with a total score of +30 and two teams from Stevenson finished second and third with scores of +33 and +34. Cabrini (+44) was fourth, Hood (+48) was fifth and Susquehanna finished sixth at +56. Widener was seventh with a +83.
Baloh had the low score for the River Hawks and was followed by Connor White (+8, 79) who tied for 10th, Brandon Cassidy (+16, 87) in 25th position, Logan Kern (+27, 98) in 33rd and Morgan Fisher (+40, 111) who finished 36th.
The golfers will wrap up the fall season Tuesday at the Williamsport CC Invitational.
