CLEARWATER, Fla. - The Susquehanna men's lacrosse team capped off its spring break with a 12-5 win over Wittenberg in a game played in Florida. The victory marked the third in a row for the Crusaders.

SU (3-2) used goals from five different players to capture the win. Austen Lein (New Vernon, N.J./Madison) led the goal-scoring with four goals to go along with an assist. Dustin Breakey (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) and Tim Pastore (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) had two goals apiece with Breakey adding three assists and Pastore chipping in two.

Pat Brogan (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) also added two goals, as did Luke Delavan (Madison, N.J./Madison).

Goalie Will Torrence (Wallingford, Pa./Strath Haven) played all 60 minutes and racked up 16 saves in his four quarters of work.

The Crusaders won 11 of 19 faceoffs, with Trae Humphreys (Wilmington, Del./Sanford) taking all faceoff duties for the day. SU also converted on 15 of 18 clear attempts for the afternoon.

SU returns home on Wednesday, Mar. 14 to host Franklin & Marshall at 3 p.m.
