Breakey Boasts Player of the Week Honor
MADISON, N.J. – Following a 2-0 week in which he combined
for 13 points, Susquehanna men’s lacrosse senior
Dustin Breakey (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland
Valley) earned Landmark Conference Offensive Player of the
Week honors on Monday. Breakey and his Crusaders won both games
during their spring break trip.
Breakey started two games and finished the week with three goals
and seven assists to add up to 13 points for the attackman. He
opened the week with one goal and four assists in an 18-3 win at
Oglethorpe and followed that with two goals and three assists in
SU’s 12-5 win against Wittenberg on Saturday.
The Crusaders have now won three straight games to stand at 3-2 on
the season. Breakey has started and appeared in two of the
team’s five games and has three goals and seven assists.
Susquehanna is now home for a three-game stretch beginning
Wednesday with a 3 p.m. game against Franklin & Marshall.
