Men’s Lacrosse to Take on No. 8 Salisbury in NCAA First-Round Contest

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Susquehanna University men's lacrosse team learned Sunday night it will travel to face Salisbury on Wednesday in the first round of the 2013 NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Tournament. Game time is still to be determined.

On Saturday evening the Crusaders (12-6) defeated USMMA 6-3 to win the Landmark Conference title, the first conference championship in program history. SU has a program-record 12 wins on the season and has won four of its last five games.

Salisbury, the No. 8 team in the country, enters the tournament with a 14-5 record after losing to St. Mary's College of Maryland by a score of 13-11 on Sunday afternoon in the Capital Athletic Conference championship game.

SU and the Seagulls are part of the 29-team field with three teams earning first-round byes.
