Susquehanna’s Moran Named Landmark Rookie of the Year

TOWSON, Md. – Susquehanna men’s lacrosse freshman attack Connor Moran (Delafield, Wisc./Kettle Moraine) has been named the Landmark Conference Men’s Lacrosse Rookie of the Year, announced Thursday morning by the conference.

Moran has started all 19 games for the Crusaders this season, including Wednesday’s NCAA first-round game at No. 8 Salisbury. Moran was second in the team in scoring with 26 goals and 21 assists for 47 points. He also had a team-high 116 shots to go along with four game-winning goals, 32 groundballs and two man-up scores.

The Crusaders put together a historic 2013 season with a program-record 12 wins en route to capturing their first-ever conference championship with last Saturday’s 6-3 home victory over USMMA.
