Cheatham to Play in North-South Senior Game

RADNOR, Pa. –Former Susquehanna men’s lacrosse player Marcus Cheatham ’13 (Reisterstown, Md./Loyola HS) has been chosen to play in the USILA/LAXWorld North-South Senior Lacrosse Game. Cheatham is the first player in program history to play in the contest.

The Division III game will be played on Friday, May 24 at 3 p.m. at Edith Robb Dixon Field on the campus of Cabrini College in Radnor, Pa. Tickets may be purchased on game day at the field.

This marks the 72nd year of the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association/LaxWorld North-South Games. This year’s games will bring together 128 senior lacrosse players from all three divisions (I, II, III) from across the country.

Cheatham, a four-time All-Landmark Conference player and three-year team captain, recently capped off his senior season as a Crusader with a Landmark Conference championship as well as a trip to the NCAA Division III Tournament, the first such appearance in program history. A midfielder, Cheatham started 16 of 18 games this past season and finished with seven goals, three assists and 42 ground balls.
