Cheatham Named All-America Honorable Mention

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Former Susquehanna men's lacrosse player Marcus Cheatham '13 (Reisterstown, Md./Loyola HS) has been named an All-America Honorable Mention player by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Assocation (USILA). He is the first All-American in program history.

Cheatham was just recently named to the roster of the USILA/LAXWorld North-South Senior Lacrosse Game after ending his senior season on a high note.

Cheatham and the Crusaders won a program-record 12 games this past spring and captured the team's first-ever conference title by defeating USMMA in the Landmark Conference championship game. SU earned a bid to the NCAA Tournament, the team's first appearance in the tournament.

A four-year starter and three-time team captain, Cheatham picked up his fourth career All-Landmark Conference accolade earlier this spring. He started 16 of 18 games this season and finished with seven goals, three assists and 42 ground balls.
