MacGregor Named Landmark Men’s Lacrosse Athlete of the Week

TOWSON, Md. – Susquehanna junior defender Kade MacGregor (Centreville, Md./Queen Anne's County) has been tabbed the Landmark Conference Men's Lacrosse Defensive Athlete of the Week.

MacGregor and the Crusaders are off to a 2-0 start this season – the program's first 2-0 start since 2011 – after defeating Muhlenberg and King's this past week.

Against the Mules, MacGregor had three ground balls and three caused turnover as SU held on for a 12-10 win. The Crusader defense shut out Muhlenberg in the third quarter and forced 17 Mules turnovers.

On Saturday, Susquehanna defeated King's 11-7 and MacGregor added four ground balls and a game-high four caused turnovers. The Monarchs scored only three first half goals and had no more than two goals in any quarter.

The Crusaders return to action on March 3 with a 4 p.m. game at Randolph-Macon.
