Knowlton Named Landmark Conference Men’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Susquehanna men's lacrosse player, Jared Knowlton (North Salem, N.Y. / Kent School) was named the Landmark Conference Men's Lacrosse Defensive Athlete of the Week.

Knowlton started and played in all 60 minutes in SU's men's lacrosse win over Catholic University on Saturday. With the win the team clinched the number two seed in the Landmark Conference Tournament. Knowlton had 14 saves as he and the defense only gave up five goals to the Cardinals.

This season, Knowlton, has started all 13 games in which he has played. He has a 5.93 goals against average, a .637 save percentage with 137 saves, and an 11-2 record.

The Crusaders are 12-3 overall with a 6-1 Landmark record. The 12 victories tie a program record. The men's lacrosse team returns to action on Wednesday, April 29 when SU hosts number three seed Scranton in a Landmark Conference semifinal.
