MacGregor Earns All-America Status

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Susquehanna junior defender Kade MacGregor (Centreville, Md./Queen Anne's County) has been named an All-America Honorable Mention by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA). This marks the third straight year in which a Crusader men's lacrosse player has earned All-America status.

MacGregor, a team captain, was a First-Team All-Landmark Conference player at defense. He started all 16 games this season and led the team with 41 caused turnovers and 51 ground balls. Those 41 caused turnovers were tied for the league lead while his 51 ground balls placed him 10th in the conference. He also added two goals and one assist.

MacGregor and the SU defense allowed just 6.31 goals per game while the Crusaders out-scored their opponents by a 134-101 margin.

Susquehanna tied a program record with 12 victories and advanced to the Landmark Conference Tournament for the third consecutive season.

Last season, Austen Lein '14 was named a USILA All-America Honorable Mention while Marcus Cheatham '13 earned the same honor following the 2013 campaign.
