Van Haasteren Named to Senior All-Star Game

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Former Susquehanna men's lacrosse player Corrie Van Haasteren '16 has been named to the South Roster of the USILA/Nike North/South Senior Division III All-Star Game.

The 75th-annual USILA/Nike North-South All-Star Game will be held on Friday, May 27 at Cabrini College. The Division III game will be played at 3 p.m.

Joining Van Haasteren at the game will be current Susquehanna head coach Stewart Moan, who was selected to serve as the head coach of the South Team. Van Haasteren is the only Landmark Conference player selected to the game.

Van Haasteren is the reigning Landmark Conference Men's Lacrosse Player of the Year as well as a First-Team All-Conference selection. Van Haastereen, a long pole midfielder and team captain, finished his four-year career with 68 games, 176 ground balls, seven goals and four assists.

He is a three-time All-Landmark Conference player. Van Haasteren leaves SU 10th all-time in ground balls (176) and third in games played (68). The Crusaders won two Landmark titles over the course of his career with two subsequent trips to the NCAA Division III Tournament.
