    Both the men's and women's lacrosse games for Susquehanna University scheduled for Wednesday have been postponed due to weather conditions. The Men's game at Lebanon Valley has been moved to 4 p.m. Thursday and the women's game at Ursinus College is going to be played at a later date.

    Jake Smolokoff started a run of four consecutive goals that included three man-up goals as the Susquehanna University Men’s Lacrosse team battled back from an early deficit to tie the game at 5-5 early in the fourth quarter. Muhlenberg responded with three consecutive goals in the final period to take an 8-6 victory Wednesday night in the home opener for the River Hawks on Sassafras Field in Selinsgrove.

    Senior Alec Tzaneteas scored five times including three goals in a span of 36 seconds in the third quarter that gave the Susquehanna University Men’s Lacrosse team a 7-5 lead but Lycoming College battled back and won a 12-9 decision in the 2018 season-opener for the River Hawks Saturday afternoon at the Shangrow Athletic Complex in Williamsport.

    Fans of the Susquehanna University Men’s Lacrosse team will have plenty of chances to see the team play early in the season as the team will play four of its first five games at home on Sassafras Field. Head Coach Stewart Moan released the 2018 schedule that features three home games in February.

    Head Coach Stewart Moan has announced his four captains for the Susquehanna University Men’s Lacrosse for the 2018 season. Seniors Andrew Porzio and James Tsilionis and Juniors James Abramo and Dylan Abplanalp will carry the responsibility of leading their River Hawk teammates on and off the field.
