Men's and Women's Soccer Receive Academic Award

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Susquehanna men's and women's soccer teams have both been named National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Award winners for the second consecutive year.

Susquehanna is one of 188 schools from all three divisions that saw both its men's and women's soccer teams recognized. To be named to the list, a program must post a cumulative team grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher following the conclusion of the 2013-14 academic year.

The SU men's team, under the direction of head coach Jim Findlay, has a cumulative team GPA of 3.04. The women's team, meanwhile, boasts a team GPA of 3.26 under third-year head coach Nick Hoover ‘06.

On Nov. 18, nine women's soccer players and eight men's soccer players were named to the Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll.
