SU Men’s and Women’s Soccer Receive Academic Award

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Susquehanna men's and women's soccer teams have both been named National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Award winners for the third consecutive year.

Susquehanna is one of 229 schools from all three NCAA divisions that saw both its men's and women's teams recognized. A program must have a cumulative team grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher following the conclusion of the 2014-15 academic year to be eligible.

The SU men, under head coach Jim Findlay, tallied a team GPA of 3.24, up from the previous year's GPA of 3.04. The women's team also saw an improvement as they boast a team GPA of 3.44 – up from 3.26 – under head coach Nick Hoover '06.

On Nov. 18, 17 women's soccer players and 10 men's soccer players were named to the Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll
