QUICK HIT: The No. 4 seed Susquehanna men's soccer team fell 3-1 at No. 1 seed Elizabethtown in Wednesday night's Landmark Conference semifinal.

TEAM RECORDS: SU finishes the season 6-8-5 overall while the Blue Jays improve to 13-2-2.

EARLY DEFICIT: The River Hawks fell into a 2-0 hole less than 32 minutes into the game and could not recover. Elizabethtown added an insurance goal in 53rd minute to go up 3-0.

BREAKING UP THE SHUTOUT: Maxfield Reed's goal in the 66th minute ended the Blue Jays' shutout and finally put SU on the board.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE: Noah Carles, Jake Heyser and Reed led the team with two shots apiece. Susquehanna put four of its 10 shots on goal. While the Blue Jays took 22 shots, they put only eight on goal. Elizabethtown did have nine corners to Susquehanna's two.

SU freshman goalie Matt Ellingworth had four saves in 90 minutes of work.

MORE SCORING CHANCES: After Reed's goal, the River Hawks took four more shots over the remaining minutes of the game. Heyser and Nick Fecci each took a shot over the final 3:22 of the game but Heyser's went wide and Fecci's was saved.
