Cole, Heller Haul in Super Crusaders of the Week

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The swimming program is represented with the SAAC Super Crusaders of the Week ending October 23 as freshman Lexi Cole (Danville, Pa. / Danville Area) and sophomore Josh Heller (Rockville, Md. / Colonel Zadok Magruder) are this week’s honorees.

Competing in her first collegiate event on Saturday at Goucher, Cole won two events and placed second in another. She won the 200 free with a time of 2:05.32 and the 500 free with a time of 5:31.85. She was a member of the 400 medley relay, which placed second with a time of 4:24.91.

The women’s team defeated Goucher 157-86 in its first dual meet this season.

Heller swam to three first-place individual events and another first-place team relay against the Gophers.

He won both the 50 and 100 free, with times of 21.35 and 49.24. Heller also won the 50 backstroke with a mark of 26.35 and anchored the 400 relay team to a first-place finish of 3:26.30.

Heller helped the men’s team beat Goucher 148-111 in the Landmark Conference opener.

Both teams hit the water again on Saturday, Nov. 5 as Catholic comes to the James W. Garrett Sports Complex for a Landmark Conference meet at 2:00 p.m.
