Crusader Men’s Swimming Competes at Day Two of Gettysburg Invite

GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The Susquehanna men's swimming team competed in the second day of the Gettysburg College Invitational and finished third.

Eric Lawrence started first of the day's two sessions by winning the 400 yard IM, finishing four seconds ahead of the second place finisher with his time of 4:14.89.

In the 100 yard butterfly, Jourdan Stewart was SU's top finisher with a time of 53.39 for eighth place. Danny Csakai finished third (59.04) in the 100 yard breaststroke while Dillon Warr finished ninth (1:05.76).

In the second session of the day, the 200 yard freestyle team of Stewart, Csakai, Jack Olson and Duncan Frazier finished fourth with a time of 1:27.33.

In the 200 yard IM, Lawrence came in fourth (1:58.90) while Csakai finished with a time of 2:00.35. Stewart finished the 50 yard freestyle in 22.09 for eighth place while Frazier and Olson finished 11th and 12th with times of 22.39 and 22.44.

In the last event of the meet, the 400 yard medley relay team of Lawrence, Csakai, Stewart and Frazier came in third with a time of 3:33.44.

The team returns to competition when they take their annual winter break trip to Tampa in January.
