Men’s Swimming Brings Home 13 All-Landmark Conference Awards

Shane Sullivan was a two-event First Team All-Landmark Conference award winner for individual events and also earned First Team honors as part of one of the two relays that the Susquehanna University Men's Swimming and Diving team earned First Team awards. The awards were announced Tuesday after the 2017 Landmark Conference Swimming and Diving Championships held Feb. 17-19 at Germantown, Maryland.

Sullivan won First Team honors in both the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke events and teamed with David Grove, Eric Lawrence and James Orzolek for the win in the 200 Medley Relay. Bill Crumrine won First Team honors in the 500-yard freestyle and the relay that included Grove, Lawrence, David Miller and Orzolek earned First Team All-Landmark honors in the 400 Free Relay.

Crumrine added Second Team selection in the 1,650-yard free while Orzolek won the honor in the 100 free, Lawrence was a double honoree in the 200 and 400 IM events, Grove in the 100 back and Owen Madden in the 200 back.

Two relays also won Second Team honors as Miller, Grove, Crumrine and Orzolek were honore din the 200 free relay and the team of Grove, Sullivan. Lawrence and Orzolek earned the Second Team honor in the 400 Medley Relay.

The River Hawks finished third as a team at the championships.
