River Hawks Men’s Tennis Wins on the Road

QUICK HIT: The Susquehanna men's tennis team defeated 8-1 Penn St.-Harrisburg on the road Friday evening in its last fall match of the season.

RECORD: SU finished the fall season with a 5-1 record.

3-0 LEAD: The River Hawks had a solid 3-0 lead at the completion of doubles. Ben Ornstein and Ryan Seibert defeated their 8-6 while Alexander Dove and Alexander Cocolas won 8-3 at number two doubles. Nick Meale and Ashton Collins won 8-2 at number three doubles.

SINGLES ACTION: SU swept numbers two through six singles. Dove competed at number two singles and won 6-7, 6-1 and 10-7 while Cocolas won 6-0, 6-1 at number three singles. Seibert and Meale won 7-5, 6-4 and 6-0, 6-2 at the number four and five singles positions, respectively. Collins defeated his opponent 9-8 (11-9). Ornstein dropped a match in the number one singles position 6-7, 6-4, 12-10.
