Crusaders T&F Teams Compete at Gator Invitational

Results

MEADVILLE, Pa. -- Members of the Susquehanna University men's and women's track & field teams competed at Allegheny College's Fourth Annual Gator Invitational at Robertson Complex on May 14.

Junior Caitlin Anderson (Islesboro, Maine/Islesboro Central) led Susquehanna with a distance of 46.47 meters (152 feet, 5 inches) in the hammer throw, good for third place out of 14 competitors in that event. The mark also breaks Anderson's own school record, set earlier this season.

Teammate and fellow junior Alycia Woodruff (West Chester, Pa./West Chester East) placed sixth out of 15 runners in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11 minutes, 17.51 seconds.

Sophomore Joe Zamadics (West Chester, Pa./West Chester East) was the lone SU male competing. Zamadics placed eighth out of 17 athletes in the 800 run with a 1:55.62 time.

Next Men's Meet: Thursday-Saturday, May 27-29, at 2010 NCAA Division III outdoor championships (hosted by Baldwin-Wallace)
