Minori Competes at NCAA Championships

CLAREMONT, Calif. – Susquehanna freshman javelin thrower
Jared Minori (Tyrone, Pa./Bellwood-Antis) earned
13th overall at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track
& Field Championships on Saturday afternoon.
Minori finished with a mark of 194-02 (59.19). He was one of four
Landmark Conference javelin throwers to compete in the event, all
of which placed in the top 13 in the field of 20.
Minori had an impressive rookie season as he won the javelin title
at the Landmark Conference Championships with a throw of 62.24m.
That throw is currently the fourth-best mark in SU history.
This marks the second-straight year SU has sent a javelin thrower
to the NCAA Championships.
