July 28, 2011 Seventy-Four Student-Athletes Earn Academic Honor Roll Status Seventy-four Susquehanna student-athletes have been named to the Landmark Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll. A total of 279 student-athletes from the eight Landmark institutions were named to the honor roll for completing the spring season with a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher.

Distance runner Alycia Woodruff, who ran the 5k, and javelin thrower Braden Klingler both competed in what marked the first NCAA Outdoor Championship meet of their careers.
May 26, 2011 Klingler Qualifies for Outdoor Track & Field Championships Susquehanna track athlete Braden Klingler received word on Tuesday that he had qualified to compete in the javelin at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Ohio-Wesleyan on Saturday. Klingler qualified after a thrower was forced to drop out and Klingler was next in line to qualify.
Savard, Eppleman Named Recipients of Annual Harnum, Heaton Awards Swimmer Christie Savard and football and track & field athlete Bobby Eppleman were named the respective recipients of Susquehanna’s Connie N. Harnum and Blair M. Heaton Awards, presented on Friday, May 13, at the on-campus Senior Awards Reception.
May 8, 2011 Several Crusaders Compete at Last Chance Meets Five Susquehanna track and field athletes competed on Saturday at two different last chance meets. Senior distance runner Alycia Woodruff competed at the Kutztown Last Chance Meet while Braden Klingler, Seth Landgraf, Ken Schetroma and Caitlin Anderson took part in the Jim Thorpe Open at Penn State.

The award is part of the Student-Athlete Affairs program (SAA), sponsored by the NCAA.
April 9, 2011 Men’s, Women’s Track Teams Earn Top-Five Team Finishes The Susquehanna women’s and men’s track teams traveled to the Messiah Invitational on Saturday in a team-scored event. The women took home fourth with 69 points while the men placed fifth overall, also with 69 points, and both in 16-team fields.
McGinnis, Landgraf Named March’s Rookie Crusaders Women’s lacrosse player Michelle McGinnis and men’s field athlete Seth Landgraf have been named the SAAC Rookie Super Crusaders for the month of March.
April 6, 2011 Susquehanna Boasts 56 Student-Athletes on Landmark’s Winter Academic Honor Roll Susquehanna University placed 56 student-athletes on the Landmark Conference Winter Academic Honor Roll, released on Tuesday. The Landmark Conference recognized 202 student-athletes from its eight member institutions, including SU.
April 5, 2011 Sophomores Sweep Super Crusaders A pair of sophomore student-athletes swept this week’s Super Crusaders awards as softball pitcher Sarah Hoffman and track and field athlete Ken Schetroma were named the SAAC Super Crusaders for the week ending April 3.
April 4, 2011 Second-Annual Mr. SU a Success Susquehanna’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) hosted its second-annual Mr. SU Contest on March 22 and the event was a rousing success, as SAAC raised $500 for the Special Olympics, the Landmark Conference’s charity of choice.
April 4, 2011 Six in a Row for Schetroma The phrase “sophomore slump” could not describe Susquehanna field athlete Ken Schetroma any less as he picked up his third-straight Landmark Conference Outdoor Male Field Athlete of the Week honor. This most recent accolade follows his three-straight Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honors that capped off 2010-11 indoor season, giving him six-straight Player of the Week awards.

March 26, 2011 Crusaders Host Annual JT Invitational in Outdoor Home Opener Despite the cold temperatures, the Susquehanna men’s and women’s track and field teams put together a solid day of competition at their annual J.T. Invitational on Saturday. Even with the colder-than-normal temperatures, several athletes had career days as the Crusaders competed in their second meet of the outdoor season and first as a full squad.
March 17, 2011 Crusaders Lead Landmark All-Sports President Cup Standings Susquehanna University is back in first place in the most up-to-date Landmark Conference President’s All-Sports Cup standings. The standings, updated through the winter season, see SU in first with a score of 7.13.
March 14, 2011 Schetroma Reels in Another Weekly Conference Honor Susquehanna sophomore thrower Ken Schetroma picked up right where he left off after being named the Landmark Conference Indoor Male Field Athlete of the Year. Schetroma’s performance at SU’s outdoor opener at Coastal Carolina earned him Field Athlete of the Week honors from the conference.
