MANSFIELD, Pa. – The Susquehanna cross country teams showed that their preseason number one rankings in the Landmark Conference were not misleading ones. The men finished in an average time of 27:10.00 to earn 31 total points, beating out second-place Bloomsburg, who had 38 points and an average time of 27:24.48. Mansfield placed third and Bloomfield took home fourth.
On the women’s side, Woodruff ran to a first-place finish with her time of 19:16.33 to become SU’s top finisher for the day. Joining her in the top-10 was junior Casey Hess (Bloomsburg Pa./Bloomsburg Area), who placed eighth with a time of 20:21.13.
