Men’s Cross Country Finishes Sixth in DeSales Invitational

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Susquehanna's men's cross country team placed sixth overall in the DeSales Invitational held on Saturday morning.

In the Red Race, the men placed fourth, just behind Division II opponent Kutztown University.

Seniors Ian Quinlan (Eagle View, Pa. / Methacton / Lehigh) and Joe Zamadics (West Chester, Pa. / West Chester East) finished in the overall top 20, with Quinlan taking seventh and Zamadics placing 26th in the field of 448 runners.

Quinlan was the top Landmark Conference finisher in the Red Race with a time of 26:16.83. Zamadics finished with a time of 27:09.40.

This meet served as an informal preview of the NCAA regionals held later this fall.

Cross country competes at Gettysburg next Saturday, Oct. 15 at 10 a.m.
