Dickerson, Quinlan Run Away with Super Crusader Awards

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The cross country program was represented in this week’s SAAC Super Crusader Awards as junior Sarah Dickerson (York Haven, Pa. / Northeastern) and senior Ian Quinlan (Eagle View, Pa. / Methacton/ Lehigh) were honored for the week ending Oct. 30.

Dickerson placed fourth overall at the Landmark Conference championship race with a time of 24:53.20 despite running in six inches of snow on Saturday. This was just four seconds off her career-best time and the fourth place finish earned her Landmark Conference First-Team honors.

Quinlan claimed the individual title on Saturday at the Landmark Conference Championships held at Lehigh University with a time of 24:23.30. He was named the L.C. Runner of the Year and this marked his fourth top-five finish in six races. Overall, Ian has finished 10th, fourth and first in his three career L.C. Championship races.

He helped his team to the second-place finish at the championship meet. The men’s cross country team has never placed lower than second (four-time champions prior to entering this race) in the history of the Landmark Conference.
