WASHINGTON, D.C. – For the fifth time in the seven-year history of the Landmark Conference, the Susquehanna men's cross country team won the conference championship title with a record 22-point performance.

SU easily edged out Juniata, which finished as runner-up with 55 points. The Crusader's 22 points were the lowest in conference history and two points better than the 2009 championship team's performance of 24 points, which had marked the previous championship record.

Susquehanna claimed six of the top 14 spots, including sweeping the two through five spots. Alex Price (Skytop, Pa./Pocono Mountain East) was the team's top finisher, taking second overall on the 8k course with a time of 27:01.20. He was followed by Colin Eberhardt (Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y./Sachem North) (27:10.90), Paul Crowe (Boalsburg, Pa./State College Area) (27:13.80) and John Crowe (Boalsburg, Pa./State College Area) (27:15.10).

Rounding out the top seven for SU was senior Sal D'Angelo (Glenside, Pa./Springfield Twp.), who earned 15th after crossing the finish in 28:29.00.
