Cross Country Heads to Mideast Regional Meet

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – On Saturday, Nov. 16, the Susquehanna men’s and women’s cross country teams will compete at the Mideast Regional meet. The meet is being held at Lehigh University with the Division III races hosted by Muhlenberg College.

Nearly 1,000 runners from 60 different colleges and universities will compete this weekend. The top two teams in each race earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Championships with 16 at-large bids also available to round-out a 32-team men’s field and a 32-team women’s field.

The Susquehanna men won the Landmark Conference title two weeks ago, marking the Crusaders’ fifth Landmark title in the seven-year history of the conference. The SU women, meanwhile, took third at the championship meet, a two-spot improvement from 2012.
