Men’s, Women’s Cross Country Remain Top 10 in Region

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Susquehanna men's cross country team remains seventh in the most recent United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Mideast Region Poll, released Tuesday. The women's team, meanwhile, also maintains its number eight spot in the region.

The Crusader men's and women's teams had last weekend off after competing at the Paul Short Run on Oct. 4. The SU men placed 13th in the Brown Race and senior Paul Crowe (Boalsburg, Pa./State College Area) was named Landmark Conference Male Cross Country Athlete of the Week following a personal-best 8k time.

The women, meanwhile, placed 24th out of 40 teams in the Brown Race with Ashley West (East Hampton, N.Y./East Hampton) again leading the way for Susquehanna.

The men's and women's teams return to competition on Saturday, Oct. 18 at the Gettysburg Invitational.
