SELINSGROVE, Pa. – It was a busy day for the Susquehanna men's cross country as the squad split up with the team's top six runners competing at the Princeton Invitational while the rest of the men's team traveled to the Gettysburg Invitational.

SU placed 27th at Princeton while at Gettysburg, the Crusaders took home 15th overall.

Alex Price (Skytop, Pa./Pocono Mountain East) was first across the finish for SU at Princeton, recording a personal-best time of 25:34 on the 8k course. John Crowe (Boalsburg, Pa./State College Area) finished in 25:52, also a career-best time. Less than 30 seconds behind him was Colin Eberhardt (Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y./Sachem North) (26:17) and one second later Paul Crowe (Boalsburg, Pa./State College Area) crossed the finish in 26:18.

Dan Isenberg (Danville, Pa./Warrior Run) was next with a time of 27:10 and Kyle Skelton (Bridgewater, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan) posted a time of 27:38.

At Gettysburg, Austin Iovoli was the team's top finisher, posting a personal-best 8k time of 27:22.0. Evan Skelton (Bridgewater, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan) was less than one minute behind (28.03.9) and Andrew Steely (Catawissa, Pa./Southern Columbia) was close behind with his time of 28:37.9.

Pat Brown (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock North) crossed the finish in 28:41.1 and four seconds later Justin Skavery (Mt. Carmel, Pa./Mt. Carmel) crossed with a time of 28:45.3. Torin McFarland (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Robert) finished in 29:11.2 with Peter Lynch (Syracuse, N.Y./Bishop Ludden) next across the line in 29:24.6.

Mark Harrel (Clinton, N.J./North Hunterdon), Ethan Eastwood (Canton, Maine/Canton) and Eric Pressler (Southampton, Pa./Council Rock South) rounded out the top 10 with respective times of 29:30.6, 29:46.8 and 29:52.0.

The Crusaders host their annual Ashley Shell Tomlinson Memorial Run on Oct. 25 before competing at the Landmark Championships on Nov. 1 at Goucher College.
