Crusader Men Picked Second in Cross Country Preseason Poll

TOWSON, Md. – The Susquehanna men's cross country has been selected to finish second in the 2015 Landmark Conference Preseason Poll, released Monday morning.

The Crusaders, who captured second place at last year's championship meet, received 56 points and one first-place vote, behind defending champion Elizabethtown which received 70 points and all eight of the remaining first-place votes.

SU returns four of its top six finishers from last year's conference championship meet. Colin Eberhardt (Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y./Sachem North) is coming off an outdoor season in which he was named the Male Track Athlete of the Year.

The Crusaders open the 2015 season on Friday, Sept.4 at the Bison Open, hosted by Bucknell University.
