Second-Place Finish for SU Men's Cross Country at Championship

KING'S POINT, N.Y. – The Susquehanna men's cross country team finished second at the 2015 Landmark Conference championship meet, hosted by USMMA at Sunken Meadow State Park.

Susquehanna finished with 74 points and Elizabethtown took home the title with 16 points.

Senior John Crowe was again the top finisher for SU as his time of 27:04.98 was the fifth-best time of the day. Classmate Dan Isenberg was close behind, taking ninth with a time of 27:49.65 and fellow senior Colin Eberhardt earned 12th after crossing the finish in 27:56.86; all three earned All-Conference honors for their finishes.

Justin Skavery captured 20th with a time of 28:32.79 and Mark Harrel was next across the finish with a 29th-place time of 28:47.07. Andrew Steely posted a time of 29:32.65, 41st overall, and John Matthews's time of 30:19.17 placed him 58th.

The Crusaders next compete at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional meet on Nov. 14, hosted by Dickinson College.
