Men’s Cross Country Back in Action at Kutztown

THE QUICK HIT: The Susquehanna men's cross country team competed at the Kutztown DII/DIII Challenge Saturday morning.

RESULTS: SU placed 14th out of 19 teams from both the DII and DIII levels.

TOP FINISHER: For the second meet in a row, Ciaran Fisher was the River Hawks' top finisher, placing 87th out of 217 runners with a personal-best 8k time of 28:18.1.

OTHER NOTABLE TIMES: Just one spot behind him was senior Justin Skavery with his time of 28:20.1. Andrew Steely was SU's third finisher with a time of 29:05.5. He was followed by Kyle Skelton (29:19.3) and John Matthews (29:33.3). SU's top five finishers were separated by just over a minute.

In addition, Eric Pressler posted a time of 30:26.0 and Mackenzie Greco went 30:46.5.

PERSONAL BESTS: In addition to Fisher's PR, Nate Adler also set a PR with his time of 33:53.8.

FOR THE FIRST TIME: Freshmen Brandon Sorge and Roberts Masters both ran their first-ever collegiate 8k races. Sorge posted a time of 31:31.9 and Masters went 38:20.3.
