Men’s Cross Country Takes Fifth at Lock Haven

THE QUICK STORY: The Susquehanna men's cross country team finished ninth out of 15 teams at Saturday's Lock Haven XC Invitational.

TEAM SCORES: Penn State Club won with 38 points, followed by Davis & Elkins with 60 points. SU's 231 points placed the River Hawks ninth.

TOP FINISHER: Senior Justin Skavery was SU's top finisher, taking 40th in the 202-runner field with his 8k time of 27:20.10.

PERSONAL BESTS: In total, four River Hawks set personal bests on Saturday. Ciaran Fisher's time of 27:26.50 placed him 45th and set a PR in the process. Other runners who set career-best 8k times were Mackenzie Greco (29:12.20), Brandon Sorge (29:28.90) and Robert Masters (36:37.20).

Saturday marked freshman Evan Moore's first collegiate 8k race. He posted a time of 28:26.70 and was the fifth Susquehanna runner across the finish.
