Men's Cross Country Takes Sixth at Conference Meet

Kyle Skelton took 21st, Ciaran Fisher was 23rd and Eric Pressler was 27th for the Susquehanna University Men's Cross Country team Saturday at the Landmark Conference Championship meet in Juniata.

The trio of runners crossed the line in a span of 31 seconds to lead the team to a sixth place finish overall. Elizabethtown won the team title followed by Juniata, Moravian, Scranton, Catholic and Susquehanna.

Skelton clocked a 29:14.97 for his finish and Fisher was seven second behind at 29:21.90. Pressler was another 24 seconds back with his time of 29:45.13.

The final two scoring finishers for the River Hawks were Brandon Sorge in 48th place with a time of 31:14.59 and Jake Menchey who crossed the line in 32:50.50 in 58th position.
