Three Softball Players Named to All-Conference Teams

TOWSON, Md. – Three members of the Susquehanna softball team have been named to All-Landmark Conference teams.

Senior outfielder Amanda Neveroski was a First-Team recipient while junior designated player Lauren Creamer and junior pitcher Jamie Fesinstine were named to the Second-Team.

Neveroski, also a team captain, has started all 33 games in which she has played. She leads the team in batting average (.452), runs (31), RBI's (28) and total bases (67). She is also leading the team in slugging percentage (.644) and on-base percentage (.474). She totals 47 hits, 31 runs scored, six doubles, four triples and two homeruns this season. Her batting average and triples lead all conference players while her 28 RBI's, 47 hits and 31 runs scored are second-best.

Creamer totals 35 hits, five doubles, two triples and 19 RBI's for a .393 batting average. Her 35 hits and .393 batting average are second-best on the team. She ranks fifth among all conference players for batting average.

Fesinstine has pitched 127.2 innings and has allowed only 50 earned runs while striking out 79 and walking 44 in 495 batters faced. She leads the team in earned-run-average with 2.74 and is 13-5 on the season with 17 complete games. Her 17 complete games leads all conference pitchers and she is second in innings pitched and games started while her 2.74 ERA places her fifth.

The Crusaders finished the regular season 23-13 with a 9-3 mark in Landmark Conference action to clinch the No. 3 seed in the conference tournament hosted by Moravian. Susquehanna will face No. 2 Catholic on Friday, May 6 at 1:00 p.m.
