April 11, 2011 Softball Splits with E’Town as Game-Two Rally Falls Just Short Trailing 5-2 heading into the final inning in the nightcap of Susquehanna’s softball doubleheader at Elizabethtown, SU was able to put two runs on the board but fell just short of completing the comeback in a 5-4 loss. However, the Crusaders grabbed a game-one victory by a 3-0 score to split with the Blue Jays.
April 7, 2011 Swerdlow Makes History as SU Sweeps Gettysburg Senior Cara Swerdlow tossed a four-hit shutout and in the process became Susquehanna’s all-time winningest pitcher as she now has 45 victories over her four-year career. The Crusaders swept Gettysburg 1-0 and 7-2 to extend their winning streak to an impressive 10 games.
