Saturday is also Play 4 Kay day, in support of breast cancer awareness. Play 4 Kay is the name adopted by the WBCA for breast cancer awareness games through their organization. It is named after the late Kay Yow. The Crusaders will be collecting donations throughout the day to support the fight against breast cancer. In addition, a limited number of pink t-shirts will be distributed.
Susquehanna's game is also being played in honor of Connie Harnum, SU's former field hockey and tennis coach, and SU Sports Hall of Fame member, who passed away one year ago. Donations will be collected throughout the day and all proceeds will go to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.
