Women’s Golf Sets New School Record at Dickinson
CARLISLE, Pa. -- Susquehanna's women's golf team finished fourth overall in the Dickinson Invite over the weekend and in the process set a new school record.
The team scored a 382, topping the previous mark of 383 set last fall in the William Smith Inviational.
Maura Handte (Boalsburg, Pa. / State College) paced the Crusaders with a 10th-place finish, shooting a personal-best 90 at the par 72 Mayapple Golf Course. Handte's 90 is SU's lowest round for the year.
Lauren Fitzgerald (Randolph, N.J. / Randolph) tied for 16th overall with a 94 and Lindsey Kass (Chester N.J. / West Morris Mendham) followed right behind with a 95, tied for 18th.
Alexandria Taylor (Morris Plains, N.J. / Morristown) and Annie Albert (Ruxton, Md. / Saint Paul's School for Girls) finished 25th and 27th, respectively. Taylor shot a personal-best 103 and Albert shot a personal-best 106.
SU participates in the McDaniel Spring Invite on Saturday, March 31 through Sunday, April 1.
