Women’s Lacrosse Earns At-Large Bid; Will Host NCAA First-Round Game
SELINSGROVE, Pa. – For the second-straight season the
Susquehanna women’s lacrosse team has earned an at-large bid
to the NCAA Division III Women’s Lacrosse Tournament and will
host a first-round game against Meredith College (N.C.) on
Wednesday, May 7. Game time is 3 p.m.
The Crusaders (11-5) advanced to the Landmark Conference title game for the third-straight year but fell to Catholic 20-9 on Saturday afternoon. The Cardinals also earned an at-large bid to the tournament.
The Avenging Angels (14-3) earned an automatic bid to the tournament after defeating Piedmont on April 12. This is just Meredith’s second year of varsity lacrosse.
