  • Shannon Kinney Earns All-Region Honors

    Senior Shannon Kinney led the Susquehanna University Women’s Lacrosse team in nearly all of the defensive statistical categories and has been recognized by the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) with selection to the All-Region team as announced on the association’s website.

  • Women’s Lacrosse Falls One Goal Short on Senior Day

    A goal by Brooke Klair less than nine minutes into the game gave the Susquehanna University Women’s Lacrosse team a 3-2 lead and the River Hawks held that lead until late in the game with Drew University scored with less than four minutes left to escape with a 12-11 victory Saturday afternoon in a Landmark Conference game on Sassafras Field in Selinsgrove.

    Ashley Rose Lynn scored two of hear team-leading four goals in a key three-goal run for the Susquehanna University Women's Lacrosse team Wednesday night with a 9-7 victory over Marywood University on Pacers Field in Scranton.

    Emily Stankaitis ’13 who was a standout women’s lacrosse player for four seasons at Susquehanna University has been named to the New Zealand National Team for competition at the World Cup Tournament July 12-22 in Guilford, England.
  • First Half Run Downs Women’s Lacrosse

    Brooke Klair scored twice in the first six minutes of the game for the Susquehanna University Women’s Lacrosse team as the River Hawks and Scranton were tied at 2-2 early in the contest. Scranton then scored 10 consecutive goals to end the first have and scored a 17-8 victory Saturday afternoon in a Landmark Conference game in Scranton.

    Freshman goalie Libby Dex made seven saves to help the Susquehanna University Women's Lacrosse team down Goucher Saturday and has been named the Landmark Conference Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending April 16.

    Shannon Kinney scored five times while Ashley Rose Lynn and Stephanie Dowling each scored three goals leading the Susquehanna University Women’s Lacrosse team to a 19-3 victory over Goucher College Saturday afternoon in a Landmark Conference game on Sassafras Field in Selinsgrove.
  • Women’s Lacrosse Falls to Nationally-Ranked Catholic

    Ashley Rose Lynn scored three goals for the Susquehanna University Women’s Lacrosse team Saturday afternoon against nationally-ranked Catholic University but the Cardinals scored 11 of the first 12 goals in the game and raced to a 22-10 Landmark Conference victory at Cardinal Stadium in Washington, D.C.

    After trailing by just three goals at halftime, the Susquehanna University Women’s Lacrosse team surrendered a 6-1 run to start the second half and Lycoming went on to post a 16-10 victory Wednesday afternoon in a non-conference matchup on Sassafras Field in Selinsgrove.

    Emilie Boman hit a home run and Jackie Gore had a pair of hits in the first game for the Susquehanna University Softball team in a doubleheader at Messiah, ranked No. 9 in the NFCA National poll, but the Falcons scored a pair of wins with 6-1 and 3-0 wins Wednesday in the non-conference meeting on Starry Field at Messiah.

    Ashley Rose Lynn scored four goals as the Susquehanna University Women’s Lacrosse team cut a seven goal deficit and trailed by just two goals four different times in the second half but Elizabethtown rallied to pull out a 15-12 victory Saturday afternoon in the Landmark Conference opener for both teams on Sassafras Field in Selinsgrove.

    Kathrina DeMaio scored her second goal of the first half to give the Susquehanna University Women’s Lacrosse team a 5-4 lead but Sewanee University scored the next six consecutive goals to end the first period and went on to post a 13-9 victory Friday afternoon in a non-conference game at Puett Field in Sewanee, Tennessee.

    Helena Woytovich scored all three of her goals in the second half as the Susquehanna University Women's Lacrosse team outscored Concordia (Wisconsin) 8-1 in the period leading to a convincing 14-3 win in a neutral site game Wednesday at Sewanee University in Tennessee.
