Susquehanna Field Hockey Drops Landmark Conference Final at No. 18 Juniata, 1-0

HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Susquehanna University's sophomore Erin Ferguson (Mount Laurel, N.J./Seneca) made a game-high three saves for visiting Susquehanna (10-9 overall), but the Crusaders fell to nationally ranked No. 18 Juniata College, 1-0, in the Landmark Conference field hockey championship game at Winton Hill Fields on Nov. 7.

Juniata (17-3 overall) notched the lone goal of the game in the 30th minute and held Susquehanna to no shots in the first half.

SU's sophomore back Laurel Monaghan (East Fallowfield, Pa./Coatesville Area) took three shots on the afternoon.

Juniata held the advantage in shots, 9-3, and in penalty corners, 8-4.
