Women's Swimming Falls at Dickinson, 117-87, for Season's First Loss

CARLISLE, Pa. -- Susquehanna University's junior Christie Savard (Berwyn, Pa./Conestoga) won two individual events and helped win a relay, but visiting Susquehanna (5-1) fell to Dickinson College (1-1), 117-87, in a women's meet on Nov. 14.

Savard won the 200-yard individual medley and backstroke races with times of 2 minutes, 18.01 seconds and 2:11.10, respectively. She also teamed with freshman Devin Lessard (Chestertown, Md./Queen Anne's County), senior Catherine Harris (Miller Place, N.Y./Miller Place) and senior Cristina Los (Succasunna, N.J./Roxbury) to win the 400 medley relay with a time of 4:16.74.

SU's junior Lauren Snyder (Leesport, Pa./Schuylkill Valley) recorded victories in the 500 and 1,000 frees with times of 5:41.36 and 11:37.51, respectively.

Lessard also won the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:16.94.
