Women's Tennis Falls to Lebanon Valley, 7-2
SELINSGROVE, Pa. -- Susquehanna University dropped its first
women's match of the 2009-10 season with a 7-2 non-conference loss
to visiting Lebanon Valley College at the James W. Garrett Sports
Complex tennis courts on Oct. 4.
Sophomore Cassie Zerbe (Berwick, Pa./Berwick Area)
was the lone singles winner for Susquehanna (3-1 overall).
Zerbe defeated her Lebanon Valley (9-0 overall)
opponent in the sixth flight, 6-0, 6-3.
The team of senior Jessi Haas (Montoursville,
Pa./Montoursville Area) and sophomore Allison
Killeen (Media, Pa./Merion Mercy Academy) scored the other
SU point at third-flight doubles, 9-7.
