SELINSGROVE, Pa. -- Susquehanna University's sophomore setter Shona St. Angelo (Manorville, N.Y./Eastport-South Manor) recorded team-highs of 45 and 34 assists, respectively, to lead Susquehanna over visiting Penn State University-Behrend (20-9 overall), 3-2, and Marymount University (18-13 overall), 3-1, in a non-conference women's volleyball tri-match at Orlando W. Houts Gymnasium on Oct. 31.

St. Angelo now has 1,004 assists this season. She is only the third player in school history to eclipse 1,000 assists in a single season.

Susquehanna (24-11 overall) defeated PSU-Behrend, 21-25, 14-25, 25-18, 25-14, 15-12, and Marymount, 21-25, 25-13, 25-12, 25-17. The Crusaders closed out their regular season with a 14-1 record at home and were perfect in three of four home tournaments/tri-matches this year.

SU's freshman outside hitter Emily Carson (Caldwell, N.J./James Caldwell) led the Crusaders with 23 kills (12 and 11, respectively) and five service aces.

Senior middle hitter Jess Cicioni (Frackville, Pa./North Schuylkill) recorded a team-high 13 kills against Behrend, while junior outside hitter Lindsey Jankiewicz (Easton, Pa./Freedom) posted a team-high 12 kills in the win over Marymount.

Freshman libero Kelly O'Brien (Mastic, N.Y./Eastport-South Manor) led the way on defense with a team-high 58 digs.

Freshman middle/outside hitter Kaylee Monga (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Knolls) guarded the net with a team-high nine total blocks.

PSU-Behrend went 1-1 at this tri-match, while Marymount went 0-2.
