Women’s Soccer Regionally Ranked

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – For the first time under fifth-year head coach Nick Hoover, the Susquehanna women's soccer team is regionally ranked by the National Soccer Coaches of America Association (NSCAA).

The women are ranked ninth in the Mid-Atlantic Region poll, released Sept. 27. Swarthmore remains number one in the region.

The River Hawks are 6-2-0 on the season with a 1-0-0 record in Landmark Conference games after handing Catholic University its first loss of the season last Saturday.

SU has won three in a row, including Tuesday night's 4-0 shutout at Hood and is off to its best start since joining the Landmark Conference in 2007. The team remains on the road to face conference opponent Goucher on Oct. 1 at 1 p.m.
