Academic Recognition for SU Men’s, Women’s Soccer

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Susquehanna men's and women's soccer teams have both been named National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Award winners for the fourth consecutive year.

Susquehanna is one of 223 schools from all three NCAA divisions that saw both its men's and women's teams recognized. A program must have a cumulative team grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher following the conclusion of the 2015-16 academic year to be eligible.

The SU men, under head coach Jim Findlay, tallied a team GPA of 3.09 while the women's team boasted a team GPA of 3.46 under head coach Nick Hoover '06.

Last fall, 17 women's soccer players and 10 men's soccer players were named to the 2015 Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll
