Women’s Soccer Wins Big over Lancaster Bible

THE MAIN STORY: The Susquehanna women's soccer team defeated visiting Lancaster Bible 4-1 in SU's final non-conference game of the regular season.

TEAM RECORDS: The River Hawks now stand at 12-4-0 overall heading into the final weekend of the regular season. The Chargers are 12-5-0 overall.

DID YOU KNOW? Wednesday's game marked the third time this season SU has scored four goals in a single game. The team has also now allowed just one goal in its last four games, going 3-1-0 over that span.

SPREADING THE WEALTH
: Four different players scored Susquehanna's four goals. Alee Pettit, Geena Ragozine, Grayclynn Juckes and Emily Sullivan all scored one goal apiece. Kate Cantrell added an assist. 

GAME WINNER: Sullivan's goal late in the 20th minute proved to be the game winner as the River Hawks jumped out to a 2-0 lead and Lancaster Bible never pulled closer than 2-1. 

TEAM STATS: Susquehanna racked up 17 shots to the Chargers' seven and put nine of those shots on goal. Juckes and Pettit led SU with three shots apiece. Goalie Jordyn Slocum made four saves in her 90 minutes of action. 

FIRST HALF: Sullivan and Ragozine scored the two first-half goals with Sullivan's coming just inside the 20-minute mark and Ragozine scoring with less than 10 minutes to play in the half. 

INSURANCE GOALS: After Lancaster Bible's Alyssa Wesner scored in the 55th minute, Juckes and Pettit scored in the 61st and 72nd minutes, respectively, to seal the victory.

UP NEXT: Susquehanna hits the road to face Moravian on Oct. 29 at 1 p.m. in the final Landmark Conference game of the regular season.
