Academic Honors for Women’s Swim Team

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Susquehanna women’s swimming & diving team has been named a Scholar All-America team from the College Swimming Coaches Association of American (CSCAA).

The award is presented to college and university swimming & diving programs that have achieved a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher for the fall semester. The SU women boasted a team GPA of 3.18 last fall, the highest of the three Landmark Conference teams named to the list.

The Crusaders captured their second-straight conference title several weeks ago with a victory over Scranton. Junior Devin Lessard (Chestertown, Md./Queen Anne’s County) was named the conference’s Female Swimmer of the Year following the championship meet.
